Jaime Vinck, MC, LPC, is the CEO of CPF Recovery Ways. Jaime provides leadership to operations in Utah, Washington, Nevada, Idaho and Texas, and is overseeing the strategic expansion of Recovery Ways. Jaime was previously CEO of The Sierra Tucson Group.
An industry advocate, Jaime serves as Finance Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) and speaks nationally and internationally on trending topics, including Suicide, Trauma Informed Leadership and Compassion Fatigue and Provider Resilience. In 2019 she was named as one of Arizona’s Most Influential Women by AZ Business Magazine an has regularly been named one of the top leaders in AZ in both Healthcare and Behavioral health.
Jaime holds master’s degree in professional counseling from Ottawa University and is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Arizona.

Suicide and the Organization
Our country faces an unprecedented mental health crisis among people of all ages. The trauma, grief, loss and isolation associated with the pandemic has driven Americans in all demographics to a breaking point with depression, substance abuse and suicide attempts increasing. Even prior to the pandemic, suicide attempts and completions were on the rise, especially among the young and older adults aged 65 and above. The CDC reports that there were 1.2 million suicide attempts in 2020 and 3.2 million Americans had a plan for suicide. A suicide and suicide attempts affect the health and well-being of friends, loved ones, co-workers, and the community. Our discussin will look at what happens when a suicide of a co-worker and/or family member occurs within our organization and how we best respond when a patient that is in our care dies by suicide?
