Dr. Phoenix Adams is a licensed psychotherapist who has over 15 years of experience as a clinician providing direct services to individuals, couples, families, groups, and organizations as well as an industry leader in the fields of mental health and substance use treatment. certificate as a Certified Grief Counselor from American Institute of Health Care Professionals.
Having served as an Executive Vice President in an internationally renowned substance use and mental health treatment facility, he is well versed in the latest treatment modalities for substance use disorders and their cooccurring behavioral health issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, relationship/couples issues, and family concerns.
His doctoral research examined outcomes for family members participating in the treatment of a loved one impacted by substance use disorder, which provided evidence that their participation resulted in improvements to their own dimensions of mental health and wellness. He is currently at The Hanley Center in Palm Beach as their new Chief Clinical Officer.
